We are looking for donations of summer weather children's clothes, small toys and $30 food packages. Checks can be written out to First Lutheran noting BASIC on check. A plastic tub is in the narthex for your clothes and toy donations. Luggage is also needed which we leave there for people to use as storage. Large pieces and roller boards are welcome.

This trip, our goal is to build another house for a deserving family, repair many other homes, give out food packages, and start an English Institute. We feel learning English can really help in getting better jobs as interpreters and working in the tourism industry. Sheryl and Karen teach English while Ed and Roger work on the houses.

Over 100 children are being sponsored to go to school with uniforms and school supplies, as well as Christian Education at the Lutheran Church there that we work through. Sponsorships are $120 and $150 for a year. For more information on sponsorships, ask us! We can find a child who would not go to school without your help. The next trip will probably be late July.
